Spring Break - Orlando - Day Three (continued)

After meeting Darth Vader we realized that the afternoon parade was about to start. We were right by the end of the parade route so we camped out seats and had another snack while we waited. The parade featured lots of Pixar movies (Incredibles, A Bug's Life, Ratatouille, Monsters, Up and of course Toy Story) and was very well done. The boys had a great time seeing everyone and dancing to the music!

Next on the boys' list of things to see was the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground in the Streets of America section. The boys ran off some energy climbing through the fake vegetation and sliding down the film canister slides.
The playground was pretty crowded so we cut out after about 20 minutes to head over to Lights Motors Action for their last show of the day. It was really spectacular with all of the stunts and special effects. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed seeing the Herbie car (the boys had no idea who this was)!
Add ImageThen we wandered over to find the heroes from our boys' hats - Lightning McQueen and Mater.
Daddy caught this great shot of them patiently waiting together in line.

We were able to see the Muppets show in 3D as well and then we tried to get back into the Toy Story ride - no more fast passes available and the wait was over two hours. So we swung through a short show about the Narnia movies and then hit one last character spot on our way out.... they got to meet Lotso Huggin Bear from Toy Story 3 as well as Chip and Dale.

For dinner this night we stopped at Fuddruckers. We always try to eat at places in Orlando that we don't have at home and Fuddruckers is one Mommy and Daddy both miss from our days in Tampa. We enjoyed the great hamburgers before heading back to the condo for some more relaxation time in the pool and hot tub before finally calling it a night.
