The "audible" on Aquatica was definitely a good thing when we checked the
temperature for the day! Plus, it was nice to sleep in. After all, it was vacation!
We headed down to Pointe Orlando which is a shopping and dining area
on International Drive a short distance from Sea World.
We visited the Wonderworks museum a few years back but we
figured the boys were older and might appreciate some things more.
In the "earthquake" room
Snowboarding
Tracking the speed at baseball pitching against the "pros"
Mind Ball - you have to relax to move the ball into the other person's goal.
Parker beat Wesley and Daryl just barely beat me.
Trying out the roller coaster simulator - you got to design your own track and then ride
On the third floor suspended above the arcade room was a Ropes Course.
This was included in the ticket price and was new since our last visit.
The whole family did this - the boys LOVED it.
After we finished we wandered through the shopping plaza and ended up at Johnny Rockets for lunch.
We finished up our time here at Monkey Joe's - an indoor playground with all kinds of oversized inflatable bounce houses, slides and obstacle courses.
We had never been to one before but had heard great things from friends.
The boys played for two solid hours.
Our relaxing day ended up with a trip to IKEA (including dinner) and
then spending some of our Christmas gift certificates at the Mall of Millennia.
We were all in bed early to get ready for the next big day!
