On Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, Daryl's church hosted their Easter Tableau. This is their annual gift to the community as they portray six scenes from Jesus' last hours on Earth. You can drive through or walk through, and at the end Daryl serves Holy Communion to and prays with anyone that would like it. Here's a shot of everyone getting ready in the Fellowship Hall to go out for the evening.
They have an amazing corner location in Ocala!!!
On Friday night, they had 181 cars drive through with a total of 418 people inside.
Both nights total there were over 600 people that witnessed this event.
Then Daryl transformed the cross in the yard for Easter Sunday morning.
And everyone who came to worship brought flowers to transform this cross
in front of the sanctuary into a living Easter witness.
Later after worship, they had a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall followed by an Egg Hunt in the yard.
They even had a special visitor join the party!
