Block Party Fun

Saturday we spent time as a family at Druid Hills' Block Party. It's a special free event to say thank you to the community for their support of the church's Pumpkin Patch in the month of October. There were lots of cool things for the kids to do outside, plus hot dogs, chips and drinks.

One of the boys' favorite things to do is the cake walk. And all three boys won baked goods of their choice! We ended up with brownies, cupcakes and muffins at home.

The police and fire departments were there, as well as the Lions with their vision/hearing test van. And inside the Fellowship Hall, the Masonic Lodge sponsored a Kid ID event. We had all three boys photographed, fingerprinted and had their voices recorded onto cds.

There was a great crowd from the community at the event. It was a really great afternoon of fun and fellowship.
