Our first day in theme parks was spent at Animal Kingdom. We've only been here once before back in 2011. We had a really nice day exploring some familiar things and trying out some new rides and experiences. We found DiVine within our first few minutes in the park; she blends in with the scenery and after you find her she will interact with you.
Daryl, Wesley and I all rode Expedition Everest. Hands down the best Disney coaster in Orlando.
We rode the jeeps in Kilimanjaro Safari in the morning while all the animals were active.
Then we headed back to the Conservation Station. Davis met Rafiki from Lion King as well as Chip and Dale back here. He LOVES characters. He wants to hug them and kiss them and; it's hard to get good pictures of him with characters because he doesn't want to turn around to face the camera.
Wesley decided to start a collection of pressed pennies while on this trip.
We caught the Lion King show which was amazing!

Someone likes to try on hats and in the gift shops.
And we wrapped up our day with dinner at the Yak and Yeti restaurant with some yummy Asian food.
