Thursday night we had the privilege of hosting the staff (and spouses) of Community UMC at the parsonage for a Christmas party. We were missing some and still had 19 people over!
Things started off with a special surprise as one of the church Sunday school classes (The Voyagers) came to the house from their Christmas party and sang Christmas carols to the staff! What a treat!
Everybody brought a dish to share and we had SO much amazing food!
We ended up with three different seating areas so that everyone could eat and fellowship.
Then once we were all stuffed we gathered around for the Yankee Gift Swap. There were some very interesting gifts - this is really a fun and unpredictable bunch!
This guy even got to play Santa for a bit!

We thought the backdrop of the stencil was definitely appropriate for the occasion - because together our staff makes a family too!
